She completed her Bachelors of Science degree in Social Work from a small Mennonite liberal arts college, Bethel College. During college Je T’aime worked as a Servant Leader Intern with the Children’s Defense Fund Freedom Schools program. Later Je T’aime worked as a regional Service Program Administrator with American Indian sovereignty issues and community organizing in New Orleans. She also coordinated two young adults programs: International Volunteer Exchange Program, which gave young adults outside the U.S. the opportunity to serve communities in the U.S, and Summer Service, which supported youth of color who were committed to serving their community for the summer.

Currently, Je T’aime is the Healthy Kids Program Director at Rosedale Development Association. RDA, with the help of AmeriCorps volunteers, serve Rosedale through many programs and events. Alissa Workman, Development Coordinator

Alissa joined the RDA team in 2013 as our office manager, managing much more than just our office. She managed our accounting, planned programs like Summer Youth Employment and Feed-a-Family, and wrote and edited our print newsletter. Now we are excited to welcome her back as our Development Coordinator. As Development Coordinator, Alissa is responsible for RDA’s grant management, donor relations, and fundraising events.

Alissa earned her Masters of Public Administration in nonprofit management from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She also holds a Professional Certificate in Nonprofit Fundraising from the Midwest Center for Nonprofit Leadership. Contact her at alissa@rosedale.org.

Kimberly Hunter, Community Relations Coordinator

Kimberly moved to Rosedale in 2016 to join RDA’s AmeriCorps Kansas service team as the Community Gardens Coordinator. Prior to joining the RDA team, she worked in organic, community supported agriculture; public high school education; and labor, immigrant, healthcare and faith-based community organizing. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Florida in 2008 and a Master of Science in Teaching English as a Second Language from City College of New York in 2014. In addition, Kimberly has obtained certificates in Spanish Language from Guatemala’s Proyecto Linguistico Quetzalteco, in Farm Apprenticeship from Kansas State University’s Growing Growers program and in Mental Health First Aid from the Wyandot Center.

Presently she is pursuing a graduate level certificate in Conflict Resolution from the Kansas Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution, expanding her Wyandotte County knowledge as part of Leadership 2000’s Class 32 and learning Rosedale history from her neighbors. As the Community Relations Coordinator, Kimberly manages RDA’s marketing and communications, coordinates community programs and events and seeks ways to connect Rosedalians’ resources to more efficiently meet their needs. In addition to serving at RDA, she loves participating in Rainbow Mennonite Church, sharing a car with her neighbor and being able to walk from her house to work, church and a community garden. Living in the same community she serves is important to her. Contact her at kimberly@rosedale.org.
