Emergency Assistance and Feed-a-Family

Feed a Family kidsFor the past 31 years Rosedale Development Association has been providing some extra holiday cheer to those in need with the annual Feed-a-Family program.

Each year, RDA collects donations of nonperishable food items, household items, children’s winter wear of all sizes, diapers, and cash or gift cards to purchase perishable items. Community members in need are then given all their items — from turkeys to toiletries — just in time for Thanksgiving celebrations.

Community members and businesses can sponsor a basket, hold a donation drive, volunteer to sort and distribute baskets, or make a donation.

To learn more or to nominate a family in the Rosedale area, contact Je T’aime Taylor at 913-677-5097 or email jetaime@rosedale.org.
