On Thursday, Sept. 24, the University of Kansas Medical Center and area emergency responders will conduct a full-scale exercise to test the school’s emergency preparedness and procedures.
The exercise will involve KU police, the Kansas City, Kan. police and fire departments, and other emergency responders.
The test will last from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday. Residents and businesses near KU Med should expect crowded roads, possible traffic delays, and lights and sirens from emergency responders.
