Job Title: Excellence in Education program assistant

Responsibilities: Rosedale Excellence in Education program is designed to celebrate high achievers in Rosedale-area schools. At the close of each quarter, students who achieve good grades and have no unexcused absences are awarded trophies at a special ceremony. The students' families are also invited to the event. Currently, Excellence in Education programs take place at Frank Rushton Elementary, T.A. Edison Elementary, Rosedale Middle, and Holy Name School.

As a Program Assistant, you would be present at the awards ceremony and do one or more of the following: help recruit speakers for the event, select trophies for the students, pull together prizes from area businesses for the students, or coordinate food from local restaurants.

Time Commitment: Five hours per month
