You’ve read pieces of the Rosedale Community Survey results, quotes from 57 interviews with Rosedalians, and you may have even attended “Dinner with your Data” or read the full community survey results online. Did you know these are all contributing to an overall evaluation of Rosedale Development Association’s work?
Adrianne Showalter Matlock has served as RDA’s Program Evaluation Specialist for the last two years to determine what is working and what needs to change as we build a healthy community for all who live, work and play in Rosedale.
The evaluation includes: Measuring progress in walkability, parks and healthy food access since 2009, an analysis of policies in our area that support or impede health, a study of media coverage of Rosedale, an assessment of the effectiveness of each program and service RDA offers, and the survey and interviews.
All of your input and the overall evaluation is guiding RDA now as we plan the next few years of serving the Rosedale community. As Adrianne wraps up her work in Rosedale, we want to say a big thank you for making us the most effective RDA we can be!
Adrianne’s last day at RDA is August 31. She will be continuing her Ph. D. studies at the University of Kansas this fall.
